At Family Partnerships of Connecticut, we believe that expression through art and music is not just recreational – it’s transformational. Our dedicated classes give individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to explore their creativity, build skills, and experience the joy of self-expression in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Why Art and Music Matter
Art and music allow individuals to connect with themselves and others in meaningful ways. These classes offer far more than fun – they promote emotional well-being, enhance communication, boost confidence, and foster friendships. Through painting, sculpting, drawing, singing, or playing instruments, participants gain a powerful outlet to share their perspectives, tell their stories, and grow as individuals.
More About our Classes
Led by compassionate and skilled instructors, our art and music classes are tailored to meet the needs and interests of each participant. Whether someone is discovering a new talent or diving deeper into a favorite hobby, every session is designed to empower through exploration, patience, and praise.
Classes are held in small groups to encourage individualized support and social interaction. Participants are given space to work at their own pace, with guidance and encouragement from our experienced teaching staff.
